高校1年グローバルキャンパス開催
令和2年10月28日（水）と11月4日（水）の2回に分けて、本校の恒例行事となっているグローバルキャンパスを開催しました。
このイベントは、立命館アジア太平洋大学（APU）の留学生のべ50名と英会話を通してコミュニケーションを図りながら、自国の文化を紹介し合うといった交流を行うものです。
今回は、コロナ禍中のためオンラインでの実施となりました。 生徒たちは、各クラスで編成したグループごとに事前準備で調べ考えてきた「食に関する課題とその解決策」の内容について、留学生から意見や助言をもらいながら、少しずつそれらの内容を深めていきました。グループ発表も行い、事後ではありますが、留学生から温かくも厳しい助言をたくさんもらうことができました。
英会話やコミュニケーションのスキルを高めること、異文化多様性を理解することなどの大切さについて、じっくりと学ぶことができた2日間となりました。
“The Global Campus” which is the annual school event for the first year students were held on both Octber,28 and November, 4 with about 50 APU students from abroad. The purpose of the event is to communicate by using English and to interact with people from different countries by introducing each culture. Because of the corona virus, we hold the event via ZOOM this year.
Students has started to prepare for the event since summer, and made presentations about “Food issue and its solution” in each group. They could deepen their learning by getting advices from APU students.
This would be a great opportunity to improve English skills and understand the diversity of different culture.
