3/13 第4期アジア架け橋留学生帰国の途へ
3月13日(日)、昨年10月より本校で留学生活を過ごしたアジア架け橋留学生が、帰国の途につきました。
帰国に際して、3月8日(火)は「感謝の会」を開催し、冬休み期間お世話になったホストファミリー、AFS博多支部のご担当者に感謝の想いを伝えました。
また、3月12日(金)に本校で開催した国際イベント「食」のサミットでは、留学生の修了証授与式を行った後、各国の華やかパフォーマンスを披露。5か月間過ごした大切なクラスメイトや先生方へ、心を込めて作った感謝ムービーを上映しました。
日本で過ごした約5か月間、新型コロナウィルスの影響で、思うように実現できなかったこともあるかもしれません。しかし、多くの人との出会いや日本での生活・体験を通して、来日時より凛々しくなった姿で福岡空港を発ちました。日本での経験を誇りとし、社会や世界、未来への懸け橋となることを願います。
The 4th batch of AFS students return to their home countries
On Sunday, March 13, the students who were attending our school through the AFS program, since last October, left for their home countries. The school was hosting students from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, The Philippines, and Malaysia.
On March 8 (Tue), we held a “Thank You Party” to express our gratitude to their host families and AFS Hakata Branch for their hospitality during the winter vacation.
On March 12 (Fri.), at the international event “Food Summit” held at our school, we held a certificate awarding ceremony for the international students, followed by gorgeous performances from their home countries, and they showed a heartfelt appreciation movie to their classmates and teachers who spent 5 months with them.
During the five months spent in Japan, there may have been some things that they could not experience because of the new coronavirus. Nevertheless, they enjoyed their time through meeting many people and living and experiencing life in Japan
They left Fukuoka Airport looking more confident than when they arrived in Japan. We are proud of their experience in Japan and hope that it will serve as a bridge to society, the world, and the future.
