中村学園女子中学校・中村学園女子高等学校

令和3年7月15日（木）に高校1年GIクラスのGI探究の授業において、昨年度のアジア架け橋生とのオンライン交流会を行いました。昨年度本校ではアジア各国から7名の留学生を受け入れており、その中のインド、バングラデシュ、フィリピンの3名の生徒と交流しました。

留学生からの発表では、それぞれの国の紹介や食文化、食の問題などについて英語や日本語で話してくれました。GIクラスの生徒たちは、それぞれの国の実際の映像を見たり、実際の話を聞いたりして、とても感心していました。留学生のプレゼンテーションの後、Q/Aセッションが行われ、活発な質疑応答が行われました。本校生徒も留学生もこのセッションを楽しみ、素晴らしい交流イベントとなりました。本校生徒にとっては、今年の9月に行われるグローバルキャンパスの前に、アジアの国々について学ぶ良い機会となりました。

クラスを担任する三浦先生とハイダー先生は、「生徒たちの英語でのプレゼンテーションやグループワークは、みんな上達してきています。今後の成長がとても楽しみです」と語ってくれました。

福岡で唯一のWWL拠点校として、今後も特色あるグローバル教育を展開していきます。今後ともご支援のほど、よろしくお願いいたします。

※アジア高校生架け橋プロジェクトとは、アジアの高校生と日本の高校生との交流を深めることを目的とした受入事業で、文部科学省の補助事業です。本校はこの事業が始まってから毎年留学生を受け入れています。その数は日本トップクラスです。

Last year, our school hosted 7 *AFS students from various countries in Asia.

The 1st year of GI class held an online exchange class with high school students from India, Bangladesh and Philippines who had taken part in last year’s AFS project, during their Global research class today.

There were three presentations from the AFS students of each countries. They introduced their countries and talked about the food culture and food problems of their  respective countries.

It was a very insightful event and the students were amazed to see real images and hear real stories about each countries. After each students presentation, there was a Q/A session where the GI students could ask the AFS students some questions. They all enjoyed the session and had a great exchange event. This was a great opportunity for the GI students to learn about different Asian countries before the global campus, which will take place in September of this year.

Their homeroom teacher Mr. Miura and Ms. Haider said, “All the students’ English presentations and group work in English have been improving. We are really looking forward to their future growth”.

As the only WWL base school in Fukuoka, our school will continue to provide distinctive global education. Thank you for your continued support.
