中村学園女子中学校・中村学園女子高等学校

令和3年7月13日（火）に高校1年GIクラスの英語の授業において、韓国のJeohyeon High Schoolの高校生とオンライン交流会を行いました。

まずは日韓両国の代表生徒による英語でのプレゼンテーションがあり、日韓の学校生活や観光名所の紹介がありました。その後のグループワークでも英語でのやりとりが盛り上がりました。

シュトロートホフ茜さん（友泉中学校出身）のグループ（沖さん、北川さん、平田さん、宮﨑さん）は、「韓国で日本食が好まれていたり、日本でK－POPが流行していたりとお互いの国の文化に親しんでいて、スムーズに英語で会話をすることができました。」と充実した様子でした。また、甲斐妃奈乃さん（原中学校出身）のグループ（浦さん、小林さん、濵久保さん、松村さん）は、「全員が積極的に話すことができ、会話を盛り上げることができた。相手国のことをもっと学ぶことで会話がより弾むので、様々な国の文化を学び、英語の語彙力も増やしたい。」と今後の抱負を語っていました。

担任の三浦先生は「入学して３回目の国際交流ということもあり、生徒たちの英語でのプレゼンテーションやグループワークの英語のやりとりも上達してきました。今後の成長が本当に楽しみです。」と語っていました。

福岡で唯一のWWLの拠点校である本校は、これからも特色のあるグローバル教育を行っていきます。ご期待ください。

The 1st year of GI class held an online exchange with high school students from Jeohyeon High School in Korea during their English class.

First, there was a presentation in English by representatives from both Japan and Korea, introducing school life and tourist attractions in Japan and Korea. The group work that followed was also a lively exchange in English.

Ms. Strothoff’s group (Ms. Oki, Ms. Kitagawa, Ms. Hirata, and Ms. Miyazaki) said, “We were able to have a smooth conversation in English because we are familiar with each other’s culture, such as Japanese food being popular in Korea and K-POP being popular in Japan. We were able to have a smooth conversation in English.

Ms. Kai’s group (Ms. Ura, Ms. Kobayashi, Ms. Hamakubo, and Ms. Matsumura) said, “All of us were able to speak actively and enliven the conversation. I would like to learn more about the culture of various countries and increase my English vocabulary, because knowing more about the other country will make the conversation more interesting.

Their homeroom teacher, Ms. Miura, said, “As this is the third international exchange program since they entered the school, all the students’ English presentations and group work in English have been improving. I am really looking forward to their future growth”.

As the only WWL base school in Fukuoka, our school will continue to provide distinctive global education.
