高校1年生対象 グローバルキャンパスのオリエンテーションを実施しました / An explanatory meeting for Global Campus
平成30年4月23日(月)1限、講堂にて高校1年生を対象にグローバルキャンパスのオリエンテーションを実施しました。
グローバルキャンパスは、本校で毎年9月に実施している異文化協働体験プログラムで、世界規模の課題「食」についてPBL(Project Based Learning)の手法を用いて学んでいきます。
「協働」に必要な、お互いの考え方や個性を理解し尊重する姿勢、感情のコントロール、聞き上手になることなどは、日々の生活の中で意識して取り組んでいくことによって身につくものです。これらのスキルをしっかりと身につけ、グローバルキャンパスを実りあるものにしてほしいと思います。
On April 23rd, 10th grade students attended an explanatory meeting for Global Campus.
Global Campus is a 3-day program held in September for all 10th grade students and will be conducted in English. During the program, students will use PBL (Project Based Learning) to practice problem solving and critical thinking.
As preparation for Global Campus, students will conduct extensive research about various global food issues and create group presentations. The process of research and creation will be useful for students not only for the Global Campus program, but also in their regular High School lives and beyond.
This program will give the students an excellent opportunity to increase their skills in problem solving, critical thinking, presentation, and English. In turn, these improvements will help our students improve their global awareness and competence.
