食のサミット プレ会議を行いました／We held “Food Summit 2019 Pre-conference”
令和元年7月12日（金）に食のサミットプレ会議を行いました。
13日（土）に開催される「食のサミット」本選の前日にプレ会議を行いました。本選に出場する代表チームと本校SGコース2・3年が参加し、共同提言書の作成を行いました。
今年度のテーマは『世界における「食と飢餓」に関する諸問題とその解決策』です。世界に飢餓という問題があることは授業などを通して知っているけれども、高校生にとって、なかなか身近にある問題ではありません。高校生の私たちに出来ることは何か。国も文化も違う高校生たちが、言葉の壁を越えて真剣に話し合う姿はすばらしいものでした。
On July 12th, the day before the Food Summit, the Pre-conference was held at Nakamura Gakuen Girls’ High School. All the participants from Malaysia, the USA, Korea, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, Kyoto, and our school discussed this year’s topic: “Food and Hunger Problems in the world and their solutions”. They shared their own ideas with one another, and tried to create the joint declaration to be presented at the end of the Food Summit. It was really impressive to see the students with various cultures, languages, and backgrounds cooperate to find some solutions to this global topic.
