中村学園女子中学校・中村学園女子高等学校

令和元年10月21日(月) 、午前中はまた昨日に引き続き、姉妹校のスルタンイブラヒム女子高等学校に伺いました。現地の生徒たちとともに異文化交流を行い、マレーシアの文化に触れ、また日本の文化をマレーシアの生徒たちに教える活動をしました。2日目の交流となるので、各自積極的にコミュニケーションを取ることができるようになっていました。SIGSの生徒との別れを惜しみ、涙する生徒もいました。

午後はマレーシア工科大学で講義を受けた後、大学の学生たちとグループディスカッションをしました。
Norhaliza Abd Halim教授の講義はハラルフードについてのもので、ハラルというのは食材そのものだけでなく、生産や加工の過程全てを指すものであるということを学びました。講義の後は、大学の学生たちとグループディスカッションを行い、マレーシアと日本の食文化の様々な側面について討論しました。

フィールドワーク3日目になりますが、生徒たちはそこまで疲れもなくいきいきと活動しています。各々が決めた探究目標に向けて取り組んでいる姿が分かり、大きな成長を感じています。

Today is the third day of our fieldwork. We were scheduled to go to our sister school SIGS and UTM later in the afternoon.
At SIGS, the students of Nakamura and SIGS had a discussion about food followed by some performances. There were performances by the Indian students, Chinese students and the Nakamura students. After lunch, we set out for UTM and said goodbye to our sister school. Students were really sad and there were also some tears.

At UTM we had a lecture on halal food from Prof. Norhaliza Abd Halim. We were very surprised to find out new information. The discussion with UTM students was followed by a campus tour.

The students were delighted with Japanese food for dinner and seemed to be very energetic even though they had a long day. They are improving day by day.
