『「食」のサミット』を開催しました
令和3年3月25日に『「食」のサミット』を開催しました。8月に海外提携校も招いて昨年同様の食のサミットを開催する予定でしたが、ようやく年度末のこの時期に新型コロナ感染予防対策を行いながら実施することができました。
本校は、平成27年度に文部科学大臣よりSGH校として認定されたことに引き続き、今年度からはその発展的事業となる『WWL（ワールド・ワイド・ラーニング）コンソーシアム構築支援事業』のカリキュラム開発拠点校に指定されています。事業の一環として「食のサミット」を平成29年度より毎年行っています。今年度のテーマは『世界における「食の安全性」に関する諸問題とその解決策』です。事前に海外提携校（マレーシア・ウズベキスタン）とオンライン会議を行い、当日は国内提携校（京都学園高校・高知西高校・中村学園三陽高校）と本校の生徒有志が参加しました。
開会行事（出場チーム紹介など）のあとに第1部を行い、提携校の代表チームが作成したプレゼンテーションやそれに対する質疑応答が行われました。いずれのチームも問題意識が非常に高く、高校生ならではの視点と柔軟な発想が生かされていました。第2・3部では、メイン会場とサテライト会場に分かれ、提言案を議論しました。それぞれのグループで活発な意見交換を行ったのち、メイン会場では提言書案をまとめ、サテライト会場では提言案プレゼンテーションが行われました。第4部では、サテライト会場からの代表グループがメイン会場で提言案を発表し、提携校の代表チームで提言書を作成しました。なお、このサミットで取り上げた問題点の解決策はアクションプランとして共同宣言にまとめ、後日国連WFP協会へ提出する予定です。

The 2021 food summit was held at our school on March25th. We were able to hold it while taking preventive measures against the corona infection this year.
This school will be accredited as the hub school for making new curriculum for the project of WWL (world wide learning), following the recognition as an SGH school by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in 2015.
As a part of our project, we have been holding a “Food Summit” every year since 2017. This year’s theme was “Problems and solutions for food safety in the world.” An online meeting was held in advance with the overseas affiliated schools of Uzbekistan, Malaysia and Mongolia and on the day of the meeting, domestic affiliated schools (Kyoto Gakuen High School, Kochi Nishi High School, Nakamura Gakuen Sanyo High School) and volunteer students from our school participated.
After the opening event (introduction of participating teams, etc.), the first part was held, and presentations made by the national teams of affiliated schools and questions and answers were given. For the second and third parts, we divided into the main venue and the satellite venue and discussed the proposals. After a lively exchange of opinions in each group, the draft proposal was compiled at the main venue and the proposal was presented at the satellite venue. The solutions to the problems raised at this summit will be compiled into a joint declaration and an action plan and will be submitted to the United Nations WFP Association at a later date.
